Matthews is an overrated, overhyped product of the Toronto media monster who are desperately promote all of their players as generational and end up having to overpay them as they all believe their players deserve it. He is a soft, lazy, grossly overpaid player that is afraid of the boards and couldn't find his own end with a map. Matthews is not worth that package as he will walk back to Arizona as soon as his contract is up in 5 years.
