No picks involved.Two good prospect.Very steep price to pay but u get 2 garanted years(1.5) and a chance to make him want to play they're for the rest of his career. Gaborik was acquired this way by LA and they kept him until he was done. Although Patches is better imo Gaborik was a heck of sniper in his prime too

Great trade for both teams imo.Mtl could maybe have got a little more but Toronto gets a really good leader at 3million plus he gets good points for a 3 line center. Good return and good destination. Great trade
