Does MTL still need to get a 2nd line center?
After Chucky gets back, I think Danault could fill in on that second line. Put Pleky to the third where he should be and DD can sit on the 4th. It would be nice to get Duchene but probably not worth it at the cost right now.

Well habs friends. its going to be a rough year. Losing 2-4 against TOR when they don't dress Mathews, Nylander or Marner is bad news. We had our top players on the ice and it is looking bad. The only positive thing I see is MB can't be employed much longer!

Habs sign Streit for 1 year at $700,000
They still have a little over $9M in cap space. I hope they have a plan, because i'm not impressed so far.

Surprised habs were able to trade DD away and get a decent D in return, but there has to be a decent trade coming soon for them. Bergavin has to be limited to making 4 trades a year for 3rd line defensemen.
Hopefully he made enough cap room to make a decent trade for a top 6 forward. Hopefully someone with a year or two left on their contact.
