Change of scenery. Both players could end up like Chris Mueller or Seth Griffith, or could be decent third liners or so.

With Beau gone, its almost certain that Brandon Davidson is taken in the expansion draft. All I can say is, wow. Five 30+ guys, and a guy from overseas on their backend. I mean, doesn't it kinda seem like these guys will lose a lot of footraces to players like McDavid/ Matthews/ Laine/ Eichel? And its not even just them, its a lot of the faster, smaller forwards that this d-core will lose foot races to.
I honestly would have preferred;

Mikhail Sergachev
Jeff Petry
Andrei Markov

You have three younger, faster guys, as well as the three guys at the bottom (Petry/ Markov/ Jerabek) to play with each of them. Idk. Yes Drouin is good, but boy, after 2-3 years, this blueline is going to look like a complete dumpster fire. Plus, Drouin isn't even a centre. So although he is good, the trade may have just hurt the Habs big-time on defence.

Michel Therrien for Claude Julien? Wow. Didn't see that coming at all. I had a feeling Therrien would be gone, but Julien as his successor? wowza.

Who is this lindgren goalie on the habs? Ppl are treating him like the next carey price? Can I get an unbiased response as to what he is? Personally, I read up on him and he looks nothing more than a fringe to decent starter. Anyone w more hckey smarts can help?
