Domi appears to be on his way out and Dumba seems to be in the same boat, with Minnesota apparently wanting to trade him for a Center. Domi would immediately be their best center, even if they successfully make Johansson a Center too; excluding him, the Wild don't have any centers that could be considered top 6 forwards. Adding in Allen would make it worth it, as I think Dumba is worth more than either of them alone and would be very useful for Montreal to acquire.

Frolik is better than his role in Calgary, and is an upcoming UFA. Montreal could get a good piece to replace Drouin and once he comes back they would be even better than before.

They both have the same cap hit and term-- Zucker probably won't improve much but is a very good player with good analytics, while Drouin is still young and has undeniable talent. Minnesota wants to get younger and add true top-end talent and Montreal seems to be done with Drouin.

Montreal, despite their poor moves and poor season last year, still has a lot of nice pieces. I think they could really rebound with a healthier lineup, and allowing Drouin to play with less pressure.
